Pet Health Diagnostics

Precise testing to uncover the root of your pet’s symptoms.

Diagnostics

Diagnostic testing allows our team to better evaluate your pet’s health and assist in reaching an accurate diagnosis. Our advanced diagnostic tools and experienced veterinary professionals help provide timely, reliable results so we can make informed recommendations and begin treatment as quickly as possible. From routine wellness screening to advanced imaging, our diagnostic capabilities support a wide range of patient needs.

Laboratory Diagnostics

In-House Laboratory

Our in-house laboratory allows us to perform many diagnostic tests while you wait. We are able to run bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal parasite testing, skin and ear cytology, and more directly within the hospital. Having rapid access to results helps our team quickly assess your pet’s condition and begin developing a treatment plan without unnecessary delays.

Reference Laboratory

For more specialized testing, we partner with trusted reference laboratories that provide comprehensive diagnostic services, including advanced blood panels, cultures, histopathology, and additional testing. These services complement our in-house capabilities and provide deeper insight into your pet’s overall health.

Imaging Diagnostics

Digital Radiology

Digital radiology (X-rays) is a fast, non-invasive imaging tool that helps our veterinarians evaluate bones, joints, chest, and abdominal organs. Digital imaging provides high-quality images within minutes, allowing us to assess injuries, illnesses, foreign bodies, arthritis, bladder stones, and changes involving the heart or lungs. We also have a portable radiology unit available for field use when appropriate.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technique that allows us to evaluate internal organs and soft tissues in real time. This technology is especially helpful for assessing structures such as the liver, kidneys, bladder, spleen, and heart, as well as identifying masses, fluid accumulation, pregnancy, and other abnormalities. Ultrasound can also assist in guiding certain diagnostic procedures when needed.
